A Journey of Gratitude

After weeks of dedication and work, our campaigning journey has come to an end. This campaign has been an inspiring experience, and we are thankful for everyone who supported us by reading our blogs, engaging with our efforts and immersing themselves in our mission to enhance education through technology.

This passion is why we chose to support UUNIK Academy and their goal to build a computer lab. We understand the great role technology plays in today's education system, and we wanted to ensure students have the tools they need to thrive. This experience has been incredibly rewarding as we witnessed firsthand how UUNIK Academy positively impacts its learners!

Where We Are Today 

We are excited to share our success with UUNIK Academy and its supporters! Through our efforts, including campaigning, hosting a Cruze Farm percentage night, and organizing a Ped Walkway Event, we have raised almost $650 for UUNIK Academy. These funds will directly contribute to building their computer lab, and equipping students with the resources needed for a brighter future. 

While our time was limited to spread awareness about the Cruze Farm percentage night, we are proud of the turnout. Each of them participated enthusiastically, ensuring that every percentage counted towards this meaningful cause! 

One of the highlights of our campaign was the Ped Walkway Event, which took place the week before Thanksgiving. Here's a picture of our team in action! 


At this event, we handed out flyers embedded with QR codes linked to our Indiegogo account. This allowed people who couldn't donate cash on the spot to still contribute. Additionally, we offered our Venmo accounts to make giving easy as possible! Every donation big our small, has been a significant milestone, ad we are incredibly grateful for the support. 

Looking Ahead 

Your contributions will make a real difference in the lives of UUNIK Academy students, helping to build a computer lab that will expand their learning opportunities and foster success. 

We will be attending the upcoming 2024 Community Appreciation Reception with UUNIK's Executive Director, Reggie Jenkins. This event will celebrate academy's accomplishments and provide an opportunity to thank supporters and donors in person. It's a chance for us to reflect on this journey and our vision for empowering education. 

As we close this semester, we carry forward the lessons learned and the connections made. Thank you for being a part of this journey and for supporting the mission to empower learners at UUNIK Academy. Together, we have made a lasting impact.

Education Through Tech   Hi! My name is JP O’Meara, and I'm sharing this blog post with you today To dive into my education through technology. I am 21 years old, so technology has always been a prominent part in not only learning, but my life in general.I remember all the way back when I was in elementary school and we had our own math devices called flashmasters that we could keep track of our progress on.
